Born on 6 December 1958 in Mango, Professor Moustafa Mijiyawa enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lomé after earning a Baccalauréat (series D) with highest honours. He graduated top of his class in the Lomé hospitals' residency examination and in the Specialised Diploma in Rheumatology at Université René Descartes Paris V, and became a tenured Professor of Rheumatology at age 37.

He has served on the jury of eight CAMES accreditation examinations (2002–2016) and has mentored 5 tenured professors. He led the Rheumatology Department of Sylvanus Olympio University Hospital for 22 years, and the National School of Medical Auxiliaries of Lomé for 30 years.

Rheumatology and medical writing are the two main areas in which he teaches at the University of Lomé and other African universities. He spent 5 years coordinating the Specialised Diploma in Rheumatology launched in 2018 at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Lomé.

He served as Togo's Minister of Health and Public Hygiene for 9 years, chaired the Governing Board of Africa CDC for 5 years, and the WHO Regional Committee for Africa for 3 years.

A keen student of the humanities (history, philosophy and literature in particular) and an advocate of a holistic approach to patient care, he explores the non-medical dimensions of medicine through articles published on his website, mijiyawa.com.

Professor Moustafa Mijiyawa is an Officer of the Order of Academic Palms and an Officer of the Order of the Mono. He is married with children.

Mr Masse Niang is a recognised expert in rehabilitation, social inclusion and development in Africa. Initially trained in orthotics and prosthetics, he went on to earn several university qualifications in social sciences, public health and multi-project management in France (Lille, Nancy) and Canada (Université du Québec à Montréal). Over nearly forty years, he has led and coordinated numerous humanitarian and social programmes across several African countries, focused on improving living conditions for persons with disabilities.

Throughout his career, he worked closely with Handicap International, holding various roles across more than a dozen African countries. His work strengthened aid, rehabilitation and social-inclusion programmes that remain central to the continent today.

A leading advocate for disability rights in Africa, he helped build a strong network bringing together organizations of persons with disabilities, professionals, governments and development programmes. Founding member and President for 25 years of the African Federation of Rehabilitation Professionals (FATO), spanning some forty countries, he has for more than thirteen years served as Executive Director of the African Organization for the Development of Centers for People with Disabilities (OADCPH), based in Lomé and bringing together 34 African countries to advance the deployment of innovative assistive technologies and devices.

Mr Masse Niang's career reflects a sustained commitment, grounded in strong technical expertise and a strategic vision in service of inclusive development and the fundamental rights of vulnerable populations across Africa.

Dethie is co-founder of Cosime Excellence — Organisational Consulting. An expert in operational excellence, trainer and coach, he supports companies and organisations across Africa and Europe in sectors ranging from the environment and sanitation to industry, energy, agrifood, agriculture and NGOs.

He has contributed to several innovative sustainable-development projects, including biomass recovery (rice straw, Typha), solar energy in Lomé, sludge treatment, and sanitation solutions for flood-prone areas. He is also active in project structuring, fundraising and capacity building.

He previously held management positions within international industrial groups such as Massey Ferguson, GIMA (AGCO–Renault Agriculture), Poclain Hydraulics and Faiveley Transport, where he led large-scale organisational transformations and information-systems projects.

A specialist in change management, supply chain and information systems, he is an electromechanical engineer and holds a Master's in Production Organisation and Management from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers in Paris.

Born on 21 October 1962 in Dakar, Senegal, Mamadou Moustapha Fall is a senior banking executive with more than thirty years of experience at leading financial institutions. Throughout his career he has built recognised expertise in decision-support tools, budget management, development and market-entry strategy, and the turnaround of underperforming entities.

He notably served as Group Executive Director for Internal Audit and Investigations at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, with responsibility spanning 33 countries and representative offices.

He also served as Managing Director of Ecobank Cameroon (2012–2016) and Ecobank Guinea (2010–2012), after holding several group-level management roles including Group Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Managing Director and Group Financial Controller. His career reflects deep experience in governance, internal control, risk management and organisational transformation within international banking.

Mamadou Moustapha Fall holds an Executive Education management certificate from Harvard Business School (Boston, USA) and a University Diploma in Technology, specialising in Finance & Accounting.

Henri is an occupational therapist with more than 20 years of professional experience, including 13 years in humanitarian settings. Before joining ATscale, he worked in his home country, France, within health and social services, supporting people with a range of physical, sensory and intellectual impairments. He specialised in home adaptation and assistive technology for daily living activities.

He began his humanitarian career in 2010 following the earthquake in Haiti, and has since worked across different regions of the world (Africa, the Middle East, the Pacific). He specialises in supporting injured people and persons with disabilities affected by natural disasters or armed conflict. In 2019, he joined the United Nations Mine Action Service to develop and support assistance programmes for victims of explosive devices.

Henri holds a diploma in occupational therapy and a professional qualification in international strategy analysis from the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques (IRIS) in Paris.
